A Truly Magical Show
So there I sat, on my couch, with my longtime friend and roommate Paul. We had broken out the old N64 and were playing a few rounds of Mario Kart 64. He was playing as Donkey Kong and I, of course, played my favorite, Mario. I know, it’s pretty cliched but hey, always gotta show some love for the main heroes. We were just finishing up lap three on Choco Mountain at 150 cc. I was well ahead of him although he was gaining on me fast. See, when it came to Mario Kart 64, I was undefeated. All who tried to stand against me fell at my feet…that is except Paul. He was pretty much my equal. I had won many while he won just as many. Each of us was at 131 wins with 76 losses. One final match to determine who was truly the king of Mario Kart 64…that is, until our next round. Aw, shoot. I jumped the gun. Let me back up a little. My name is Eddie. I’m twenty-five years old.
