So there I sat, on my couch, with my longtime friend and roommate Paul. We had broken out the old N64 and were playing a few rounds of Mario Kart 64. He was playing as Donkey Kong and I, of course, played my favorite, Mario. I know, it’s pretty cliched but hey, always gotta show some love for the main heroes. We were just finishing up lap three on Choco Mountain at 150 cc. I was well ahead of him although he was gaining on me fast. See, when it came to Mario Kart 64, I was undefeated. All who tried to stand against me fell at my feet…that is except Paul. He was pretty much my equal. I had won many while he won just as many. Each of us was at 131 wins with 76 losses.
